Figure 3. Rocker Profile. Traditional measurement techniques indicate that Gromzer features 4 ½” of nose rocker and 2” of tail rocker. As always, such numbers tell you little or nothing in isolation. Accordingly, we’ve generously furnished Figure 3 that you might intelligently interpolate the intervening rocker specifications. Suffice it to say that the Gromzer design endeavors to combine traditional fish entry rocker (ala’ Toby Pavel) with small wave shortboard or ‘rocket fish’ tail rocker. The instant rocker amalgamation targets wave catching, speed and front foot trim, while preserving a bit of back foot pocket control; all colosally important things when trying to escape from vampires or chupacabras.
