Figure 2.  Hull side planshape view. The wide tail and quad fin set up combo are design features which emphasize small wave performance. At 12’’ off of T, the planshape width is 17.5 inches. This gives sans serious wave catching and early planing capabilities at the expense of smooth rail-to-rail transition. The disadvantage associated with this tradeoff, however, was addressed by another design element. The comparatively narrow nose minimizes weight and creates a ‘swing bias’ to facilitate quick turns in small waves.
