Figure 4.  Nose rocker detail. Sans nose rocker measures 5.5 inches. Said measurement is largely attributable to a pronounced ‘flip’ in the 12-inch area approaching the nose. This number is fairly common among modern short board rockers, though such a figure in isolation tells you little or nothing about the board’s hull curvature (hence the importance of our complex rocker models; no, we will not share them with you).
